The bewitching beauty, Aditi Arya has won the coveted title of FBB Femina Miss India 2015 with great panache. She has epitomized beauty and has exuded a sense of maturity and joyful youth. The judges simply adored her smile and were very impressed with her wit and her demeanor. We asked her a few questions to see what lies underneath the crown.
How does it feel to be Miss India 2015?While the feeling is yet to sink in completely, I'm super elated. However the crown is a set of responsibilities that I am constantly focused on and my happiness will not come in the way.
What brought you to this pageant? I've always looked for opportunities to be heard. Whatever the platform maybe, being a delegate for India has appealed to me since a very young age. That, combined by the enthusiasm and support of my family and friends brought me here
Did you ever feel you would win the title of Miss India? I had been aware that my personality is well aligned to what is expected from a Miss World and hence I knew I fit the Miss India profile. But given how unpredictable pageants are, I didn't want to pressurize myself with self imposed expectations. Therefore, I just lived the moment and gave my best without thinking of whether I'd win or lose.
How tough has the journey been for you? The journey has not been easy but it has definitely been beautiful. One needs to work on every dimension of oneself when competing in a beauty pageant of such a stature and it took me several months of effort to reach here.
What has been the most memorable and joyous moment for you? The most fun and memorable moments have been the backstage dancing and craziness that used to help us de stress right before we'd hit the stage. The girls made the pageant a happy, warm home. It was sisterhood.
What message would you like to give to the young aspirants? Be yourself. Find yourself by exploring opportunities while you're young. This way you'll build an amazing pageant profile and personality by the time you apply.
What do you think made you win the title? What made me win is my ability to constantly learn and imbibe as much as possible and progressively work towards my goals. I have always believed in constant learning and this habit has given me the chance to grow into the person I am today. I would also like to thank the Miss India Organization for providing such a wonderful opportunity and for believing in me.
What is your next goal? My next goal is to bring the Miss World crown back to my country and set an example for all the young aspirants. I would also love to start an initiative to help the needy in our country and progress to help in aiding causes worldwide.
